Lenhardt Rodgers Offices
Historic Design Contemporary Office Sustainable Design Space Planning
In 2009, Lenhardt Rodgers moved to a new location in Fort Washington. This 200-year-old building was originally The Fort Washington Masonic Lodge and housed various business types over the years. The move afforded the opportunity to design a new office space within a historic building. While deciding to maintain the historic features of the building, a bright and bold interior was created to incorporate modern elements with bright color accents and sustainable design features while preserving the essence of the historic interior from the building’s former life as the lodge. Every aspect of the space was carefully considered from the space planning and design to the accessories and art work. The final result demonstrates a seamless transition from traditional architecture on the exterior to a modern interior.
